Credit origination and decisions
Bind a credit application, its decision and disbursement to the institution's approved authority and terms.
Credit operations begins with an eligible customer and a reviewed loan or financing product. The institution sets limits, schedules, collateral, pricing, conditions, approval bands and committee rules.
Prepare an application
Use a synthetic borrower in a named local or sandbox environment. The credit officer supplies the approved product, customer identity, requested principal, tenor, repayment terms and application evidence. POST /loans is the source entry for an application or schedule calculation. Read its exact command and request schema in the reference.
Record the submitted application version and calculations. Bureau or risk evidence comes from a separately qualified integration. The institution’s actual policy determines the routing and decision maker.
Decide under current authority
Current generated source includes /credit-committees, adoption, decisions, votes, finalisation and condition evidence/verification. Inspect the selected schemas and server handlers before using them. Source discovery alone establishes no complete committee or institution qualification.
A committee decision binds the exact borrower, amount, tenor, price, collateral and version. Enforce current membership, quorum, conflict exclusions and independence. Related-party requests follow the institution’s approved route. A material edit returns the request for a new decision.
Disburse and service
Approval and disbursement are separate outcomes. Conditions precedent must be met or formally waived by the required authority. Use the exact loan transition and disbursement contract, accounting event, funding account and beneficiary. Keep multiple drawdowns, repayment allocation and schedule revisions traceable.
Arrears, restructuring, impairment, write-off and recovery need their own approved lifecycle and posting rules. Islamic financing uses contract-specific asset and ownership stages with approved terminology.
Retain evidence and recover
Keep application and decision versions, votes and conflicts, condition evidence, approvals, operation IDs, journals and payment outcomes. An unknown external disbursement stays with its original instruction and owner. Financial correction creates linked accounting rather than overwriting posted history.
Qualify rejection, no quorum, expired conditions, changed terms after approval, concurrent disbursement and interrupted repayment or recovery as well as the successful path.
