Regulatory reports and compliance

Produce institution-specific reports with source lineage, review and filing evidence.

Regulatory obligations depend on the institution, jurisdiction, licence and product scope. The institution’s qualified compliance owner approves the definitions, templates, periods, limits and submission arrangements.

Prepare a report

Choose the named environment, institution, approved definition/version, business period and data cutoff. Reports need reproducible source lineage and control totals. Finance and compliance reviewers validate the result before filing.

The existing source includes Nigerian reporting and regulatory-centre operations. Discover exact methods and schemas in the reference. They do not establish every country’s reporting capability or automatic electronic regulator submission.

Generation, filing and correction

Store each run’s definition, parameters, source watermark, actor and output hash. Filing adds its own approval, transport and acknowledgement evidence. The legacy CBN submission handler records an operator’s manual filing reference. It supplies no proof of direct regulator transmission.

A rejected or corrected report creates a new linked run or supersession record. Preserve earlier output and evidence. Missed deadlines remain assigned and escalated under the institution’s operating policy.

Cases and sensitive data

Fraud, suspicious activity and privacy requests have separate scopes, evidence and controlled actions. Review data access purpose, minimisation, retention and permitted disclosure for the jurisdiction. A report export must enforce its own authorisation.

Qualify the scope

Use synthetic records to verify calculations, source lineage, period boundaries, late events, duplicate runs, review, rejected filing and correction. Retain the exact build, institution profile, definitions, approvals, output and acknowledgement. Legal thresholds and schedules must come from the institution’s current qualified source.
