Teller operations control over-the-counter physical cash handling at the branch level.

Key Rules

  1. Till Allocation: A Teller must have an allocated, open cash till tied to their user ID and branch before posting cash transactions.
  2. Four-Eyes Principle on Cash: Cash withdrawals exceeding the teller’s single-transaction ceiling (e.g. > ₦500,000) require on-the-spot checker approval from the Branch Manager (Role 320007) or Branch Head of Operations.

  • Credit: Customer Savings Liability (GL 21101)
